Privacy policy

Updated July 21, 2026

Samantha Covey LLC operates this website to help clients learn about our custom bridal and eveningwear services, request appointments, and receive communications they have opted into. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Appointment request form

When you submit an appointment request, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, approximate budget, contact preferences, verification status, and any details you choose to include in your dress notes. This information is used solely to evaluate and respond to your inquiry.

Email newsletter signup

When you subscribe through the footer or the site popup, we collect your email address and a record of the page and context from which you subscribed. This information is used to send you first looks at new collections, lookbook releases, and private appointment availability.

Bot protection

We use Cloudflare Turnstile on website forms to distinguish human visitors from bots and prevent abuse. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background and processes limited technical signals, such as your IP address, TLS fingerprint, browser user-agent, the Turnstile site key, and the associated website origin. Cloudflare processes these signals to provide and improve its bot-detection service. For more information, see Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Text messaging communications

We collect your phone number only when you voluntarily provide it to us, such as during transactions, inquiries, appointment requests, or when you sign up to receive notification messages. Appointment requests include a phone verification code and appointment-related messages under the disclosure shown on the form. Promotional text messages are off by default and are sent only when you separately opt in. We keep your messaging preferences and records of consent.

Advertising and site measurement

We use website analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Meta Pixel, Meta Conversions API, Google tag, and Google Ads conversion tracking, to understand visits to our public pages, measure appointment request conversions, improve advertising performance, and create remarketing audiences. These tools may use cookies, browser identifiers, page details, device and browser information, and hashed or customer-provided versions of information you provide, such as email address, phone number, and name.

How we use your information

  • To review and respond to appointment requests and coordinate next steps in the design process.
  • To send newsletter and promotional email communications to people who create verified accounts or otherwise opt in.
  • To verify phone numbers and send account, service-related, customer care, and appointment-related text messages under the applicable request disclosure.
  • To send promotional emails and text messages to people who create an account and separately opt in, or who otherwise opt in to receive them.
  • To understand how visitors interact with the site so we can improve it over time.
  • To measure and optimize advertising campaigns, attribute appointment request conversions, and reach people who may be interested in Samantha Covey services.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Third-party services

We use third-party services to operate this website, including an email delivery provider for newsletter communications, an SMS provider for text message delivery, Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on form submissions, a hosting provider, and Meta and Google advertising tools for campaign measurement and remarketing. We share your phone number only with our SMS provider as necessary to send and manage text messages, subject to the privacy policy of that provider. Meta and Google may receive browser and event data, along with contact information used for conversion matching when you submit an appointment request. These services receive only the information necessary to perform their functions.

Email communications

Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link. You may opt out at any time by clicking that link, and your address will be removed from future sends. You can also contact us through the website to request removal.

Text message opt out

SMS messaging charges may be applied by your carrier. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Once you have opted out, we will not send you additional SMS messages unless you opt in again. We will not sell, rent, transfer, or share your phone number with another party for their own marketing purposes.

Data retention

Appointment inquiry information is retained as long as it is relevant to an active or potential client relationship and then deleted. Subscriber records are retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. We do not hold personal data longer than necessary.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, email us or write to us at the addresses below and describe what you are looking for. We will respond within a reasonable time.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and local browser storage for functional purposes, such as remembering whether you have already seen the newsletter signup prompt. We also use Meta Pixel, Google tag, and related advertising technologies to measure visits, appointment request conversions, and ad performance. Meta's automatic website matching and Google enhanced conversions may use information you provide, such as email, phone number, and name, to help match conversions to advertising accounts. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage certain ad preferences through your Meta and Google accounts.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the services we use change. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. We will notify visitors about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by placing a prominent notice on our site. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
