Because She Is a Mother

A five-look editorial collection that frames motherhood through procession, softness, ceremony, and architectural line.

Victor Hugo once wrote of a woman who broke her last piece of bread in two, giving both halves to her children.

"She hath kept none for herself," said the sergeant. "Because she is not hungry," replied the soldier. "No," the sergeant answered, "because she is a mother."

This collection draws inspiration from the quiet transformation of motherhood, a metamorphosis often unseen. As the child grows visibly with time, the mother, through sacrifice and love, blossoms inwardly into a fuller, more radiant version of herself.
